What is the difference between the Evaluation and Registered versions?
There is no functional difference between the evaluation and registered (licensed) versions of The Address Manager all features of the licensed version are available and can be used in the evaluation version.
There is only one difference between the licensed and evaluation version:
-limited number of contacts.
You must enter your registration key into the evaluation version to unlock
the limitation on the shareware version. We provide you with your registration
key after you have purchased a license for software.

What do I get after I have registered The Address Manager?

How do I uninstall the software?
- From the program folder select Uninstall The Address Manager and follow instruction of the uninstall wizard.
OR
- From Control Panel double click Add/Remove Programs
- Click the Install/Uninstall tab
- From the Install/Uninstall Programs Display window select The Address Manager program
- Click the Add/Remove button. This removes The Address Manager files from your computer
- Follow instruction of the uninstall wizard.
How do I run The Address Manager over the network and sharing the same database?
- Install a copy of The Address Manager on all workstations.
- Copy the database "phmaster.mdb" from one of your wokstation to a shared drive and folder on the computer acting as server.
- From the File Menu of the main screen select Change Database, then browse to the shared drive and folder on computer acting as server and select the database "phmaster.mdb".
Why am I not able to enter any information in the Title or Relationship field?
The reason the Relationship Field does not allow you to enter any information, is because there are no entry in “Other Field”, the relationship field is there if in case you enter a name in the Other Field and you want to describe what is the relationship between the Name Field and the Other Field is, you would then enter a description there. In the case of the Title Field if there are no company name then cursor will skip the Title Field.

- First/Last name: John Doe
- Other: Mary Doe
- Relationship: Wife
When installing on Windows 98 you receive an "RPC Stub" Error.
To solve this issue, you will need to download a patch from Microsoft located
here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/msninvestor/Patch/1.0/WIN98/EN-US/mcrepair.EXE
When you run this executable, when it prompts you whether you wish to overwrite Newer files, make sure to click YES for each file ( do not select "No" or "No to All" ).
